Need:
Parsons is seeking two Business Development Managers to help build our well established environmental services practice and expand our portfolio with major oil, chemical, manufacturing and/or utility companies. These Business Development Managers will identify opportunities that could benefit Parsons, develop sales strategies, and establish and maintain environmental client contacts. The successful candidate will identify potential clients for key target environmental initiatives and develop sales strategies to grow those initiatives. He or she will also manage significant proposal efforts and negotiate contracts. Bringing existing client relationships and knowledge of prospective major projects or programs is required. We offer flexible work locations for these positions.


Qualifications

Requirements:
• 15-20 years of business development and/or project management experience in the environmental field
• 4-year degree in Engineering, the Sciences or Business
• Must have key business relationships in the petroleum, chemical, energy, and utility industries
• Must have a thorough understanding of client expectations and preferences, proposal pricing, contract terminology, negotiations with potential clients, and the Company's policies and business objectives.
• Must demonstrate the ability to represent the Company favorably, develop new clients (both domestic and foreign), and negotiate with key members of other firms, is also required.
